Fantastic dancing at tonight’s Concert Sundays show!

Tonight’s concert by the Thornhill Community Band was great fun, and videos and photos will be here later this week, but for now feast your eyes on this truly awe-inspiring video of the indescribable dance moves of three Markham Concert Band members!

Enjoy, and feel free to dance along at home!

Check out the first show in our Concert Sundays series!

June 26th we played host to the Encore Symphonic Concert Band at the Unionville Bandstand as part of our Concert Sundays series (which we run with the generous support of the City of Markham’s Celebrate Markham grant program).

Check out this great video of clips from the show, then join us on July 3rd at 7pm at the Bandstand for the Thornhill Community Band!

Two free Saturday concerts in June – join us!

On June 4th from 4-5 pm you can find us at the Unionville Millennium Bandstand on Main Street Unionville as part of the Unionville festival.

On June 18th from 1-2pm we will be at Main Street Markham with the Markham Village Music Festival.

We’d love to see you at one or both!

Suspect #6 for our May 8th murder mystery … the father with a secret!

What is he hiding, and would he kill to protect it?

Suspect #5 for our May 8th murder mystery … the angry conductor!

Would a wasted script make him angry enough to kill?

Suspect #4 for our May 8th murder mystery … the “grieving” widow!

How many husbands have to die before it’s a pattern??

Suspect #3 for our May 8th murder mystery … the attention-seeking president!

Did she kill William to take over his MC position?

Suspect #2 for our May 8th murder mystery … the incompetent lighting technician!

Would you trust this man to do your lighting? Guest MC William probably didn’t either – did Norm kill him for it?

Suspect #1 for our May 8th murder mystery … the saxophone section leader!

Over the next few weeks we’ll show you all the suspects to watch for at our May 8th Murder Mystery. Up first… the controlling section leader!

Special guest star for our May 8th show… let’s hope nothing happens to him!

Everyone’s excited to have one of MCB’s most illustrious former members, William Nielsen, our past president/saxophone section leader, with us today to MC our show and play in the sax section.

Actually, not quite everyone’s excited. Several people, in fact, would be happy to see William dead. Over the next few weeks we’ll show you those suspects, and on May 8th at 2pm at Flato Markham Theatre you can join us to find out who “may” have murdered William!
